General Forum Rules and Guidelines

Please review the following rules and guidelines prior to posting. Any posts that do not follow these rules and guidelines will be deleted, and, depending on the severity, the user's account may be banned.

REPORT QUESTIONABLE CONTENT
You are encouraged, as a member of GuimarasTalk, to report (by using the "Report to Moderator" link) any post which contains content that does not follow the following rules and guidelines.

NO OBSCENE LANGUAGE
Please refrain from using any vulgar language that would offend someone else.

NO OBSCENE MATERIAL
Absolutely no pornographic material or links to it. Pedophilia, Gay materials, drugs, terrorism, credit card hacking and any form of hacking are not to be discussed or directly linked to in any way, shape, or form.

NO PERSONAL INSULTS OR ATTACKS
You are free to disagree with others (which is to be expected in a forum), but if you stoop to personal abuse or attacks, your post(s) will be deleted. If you ARE insulted please report the post. Keep the profanity to a minimum. Keep in mind that this website and its forum is visited by people from all walks of life, all ages and ethnic backgrounds. Many of which do not appreciate vulgar language. So, the less there is, the better the forum is for everyone. Besides, a foul mouth does not make you look very impressive. If you are seen posting profane words against a specific member, you will be warned and possibly banned from the forum if you continue to do so.

NO TROLLING, FLAME WARS OR "TRASH TALKING"
Trolling and/or attempting to bait others into a flame war will not be tolerated. Any posts we deem to fall in this category will be deleted. Always treat fellow posters with respect and courtesy. Posting insulting words, sarcasm, irony, and other flaming words will not be tolerated. You may receive a warning for doing this.

POST IN THE APPROPRIATE FORUM
Please read each forum description before posting to ensure you are posting in the correct forum. Off topic posts will be moved to the correct forum. This is still a very young forum, so it should be quite obvious where you should post.

NO DUPLICATE OR REPEAT POSTS
If no-one answers your question or responds to your post, please bump it rather than posting it again.

NO ILLEGAL SUGGESTIONS
Respect the copyrights of other people, websites, software and printed media. Please no pointers, how-to's, advocating any illegal activity. Posts regarding such things as warez,crackz etc. will be deleted and the user warned.

NO SPAM
Do not use this site as a redirector or gateway to another site for the purpose of collecting click income or advertising. Although there are times when a link to another site is necessary for helping or answering a question, this site reserves the right to determine what is and is not SPAM. Posting at multiple frequency is considered SPAM. Any SPAM will be immediately deleted and the user warned.

PRIVACY
You must respect the privacy of other members and individuals. Do not post personal information (i.e. addresses, phone numbers, passwords, personal identification numbers, or any other information considered private) without the permission of the individual.

SIGNATURES
Signatures should be no larger than 468pixels high by 60pixels wide. Limit your signatures to (1)5 lines of texts or (2)468x60 banner and 1 line of texts.This includes any text or images used in your signature. Signatures outside this limit will be edited and/or removed. Please remember, no pornographic, obscene or controversial subject matter of any kind.

NO MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS
Every user is entitled to have one account only. If you are caught having more than one account, your accounts will be deleted and you will be banned. You must pick a secure password and take reasonable measures to protect your account.

LANGUAGE
English/Filipino/Hiligaynon/Kaniray-a are our official / administrative language. Contents in all posts are to be in English or Filipino, but we may allow foreign language where we deem appropriate.

MULTIPLE POSTINGS
It is simply not acceptable to post your question more than once, or to post it in more than one section/board. Choose the board that your question or post best fits in, and place it there and only there. If, after posting, you feel it should be in another section, use the 'Report' button at the lower right hand side of the post and we'll move it. We also reserve the right to move posts to other section and delete duplicates.

CONTENT
*Posting of nonsense replies or short comments such as "thanks", "more please" or other one-liners will be construed as speed posting and will result with you being warned and your post being deleted. Try to be creative when appreciating the poster's work.
*Do not use all CAPS on your topic title and content.

Any post/thread that GuimarasTalkt deems inappropriate will be dealt with accordingly. If you have any questions about actions taken against a post/thread please PM the appropriate forum's Moderator(s). All rules violations will be dealt with swiftly, up to and including a permanent ban of the user account. We reserve the right to delete posts/threads at our discretion.
