How to get to Guimaras Island

BY PLANE, GUIMARAS can be reached by 45-minutes can be reached by 45-minutes ride from Manila Airport to New Iloilo Airport of International Standar, Cabatuan, Iloilo. From New Iloilo Airport, 30-45 minutes ride to Ortiz Wharf or Parola Wharf by means of Taxi and another 15-25 from Ortiz or Parola Wharf to Jordan or Buenavista Wharf by means of pumpboat.

BY SEA, GUIMARAS can be reached via 18-hour transport from Manila Port to Fort San Pedro. From there, a 10 minute of taxi ride to Ortiz Wharf or just a 5 minute walk to Parola Wharf.


By Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific and Air Philippines from Manila , 9 times daily to Iloilo City. Daily from Cebu and 21 trips daily by fast craft from Bacolod City. Guimaras mainland is close to Iloilo harbor and accessible in 15 minutes by motorboat or ferry boat that service the island from six in the morning to seven in the evening daily. Motorboats to the different islets are available on special arrangement. Travel time is from 5 mins to 5 hour depending on how far one wishes to wander around.
